We finally made it to Cornbelly's as a family after Fall Break. We took Skyler with us, and he was kind enough to take this family photo for us.
The kids all know that I must have the photo of them in front of this tractor wheel, so we went straight to it. I can't even believe how much they have all grown! Here's proof that Skyler was with us too.
After the mandatory photos, Rachel, Gabe, and Skyler went off on their own to explore, and Michael hung out with Brian and I. We had such a blast with him. He informed us that Cornbelly's was more of a middle school hang out, which was kind of sad to hear. We did Apple Blasters together. And Brian and Michael challenged each other on this ring toss game. I don't know how they do it because it always seems so impossible.
Then, we did the corn maze together. Michael was making us laugh so hard the whole way through, especially when he started "consulting the corn" to find our way out. I just love this teenager!
Rocking my baby.
We caught up with Rachel, Gabe and Skyler at the giant slides.
It was probably at this point that Michael ditched us, but we sure enjoyed him while he was with us. Would it be a trip to Cornbellys if someone didn't get buried in the corn cob beach?
Lea eventually met us at Cornbellys too, and we went to dinner together at Zupas. The kids are always sad to part ways with Skyler....Here's the finally parking lot parting.
I can't think of a good way to close up this entry. I thought maybe I could share a few words from the Cornbelly's theme song, but I realize that despite hearing it over and over throughout the years, I really don't know any of the words, and now the song is just stuck in my head for no reason. So, something about fun for everyone...Cornbellys.
