And in between all the trips, recitals, track meets, and soccer games, we lived a pretty normal, boring, and wonderful life.
There were morning snuggles and selfies,
Smiles,
hugs,
and doors getting left open.
There were tired moments
and sleepy ones too.
We saw things that reminded us of the ones we love, like this big black bear holding a little bear cub that reminded us of Grandpa Chadwick holding Gabe, both of whom we lovingly refer to as bears.
We ate out.
We celebrated our moms.
We took Mother's Day selfies.
We spoiled mom by making dinner and dessert on mother's day
While mom rested on the couch and posed for pictures with the best kids in the world (but we're not biased!)
We played the piano.
We enjoyed more hugs.
One of us lost a tooth.
One of us took lots of naps.
All of us read some books.
We completed a project in order
To complete a project.
We got a new writing desk for the office to go in the place of the piano. We all worked and studied in the office.
We gave kisses and received kisses.
One of us got a new hat.
We drew.
We baked.
We licked the mixing bowl and spoon.
One of us designed a wedding invitation--actually two! All of us were excited about this wedding
We prayed.
We bathed--mostly regularly.
We made mistakes and tried to fix our mistakes.
We planted.
We wrote stories.
We saw Aladdin on opening night and got meet Jasmine
and a camel.
We were silly.
One of us put Peter Rabbit on trial as the prosecuting lawyer (He did awesome!)
We snuggled, we relaxed, we worked hard, we loved (and we especially loved having Cal and Ethan living with us).
And one of us got spoiled.
