October Part 10: Halloween

And now, presenting the Saville Family as The Addams Family:

Gabe as Pugsly:
Rachel as Wednesday Addams:

(This is the only costume I made, and I barely got it finished in time for Rachel to wear to school on Halloween).
Michael as Lurch with Thing (all the way from the UK from a seller on Etsy). :
Brian as Gomez:

 Devri as Morticia:

and Gracie as Cousin It.

Since I snap "weird", Brian and the kids showed me how to hold my hands for this picture.

As I mentioned previously, we took these photos on Saturday, October 25 (except for the ones of Wednesday's prom dress), which I took Halloween night.

On actual Halloween, Michael dressed up as Fred Flintstone (because he got extra credit or something for dressing up). Glad we hung onto these costumes over all these years!

He loves getting hugs from me in the morning. I think this one was an accident.
I think Rachel opted not to wear her wig to school, but that didn't stop her from applying creepy make-up.

Gabe painted his face to look like Stitch. I helped a little, but mostly he did it.

It's a little weird having only one kid in the Halloween parade at the Elementary school.

Brian and I actually did our ballots early enough this year to mail them. This is the "I'm such a good citizen; I voted" stance, in case you didn't recognize it.
Rachel put her wig on for her official photo in this dress and to go trick-or-treating.
Her prom dress costume was a bit uncomfortable (even though she LOVED how it looked) so she kept switching back and forth between that one and this one.
Rachel really wanted to go trick-or-treating with friends, but it didn't work out. Michael went out with her for a little bit after coming home from the football game (which Lone Peak won).
And Brian went out with her as well.
Gabe went trick or treating with his friend Max in Max's neighborhood, and then he and Max hit up a couple of the houses in our neighborhood.

Cal and Cassidy stopped in for the night on their way to California, and it was great to see them. We had a fantastic Halloween!
