On November 16, we got to go to the BYU game against TCU. We were going to invite Danny to come, but he had a dance that night, so instead, we invited Matthew to join us, and we had such a blast with him! We left our house nice and early, deciding to grab food at Burger's Supreme in Provo. It took us probably 40 minutes to make it through the drive-thru due to its proximity to the Stadium. After finally getting our food, we headed up to near the Hinckley Center to park and then walk down to the Stadium. We found our seats just in time for all the stadium hype. It was a night game, which are always so much fun! We got to see Cosmo zipline into the Stadium and rock out on the electric guitar.
At halftime, we met up with Michael and Kristina to watch the Marching Band halftime show. While we were talking, John Beck came over by where we were. He was just on the phone, and we didn't talk to him, but he was right there! Kristina and Michael with us between the expensive seats.
Just enjoying a really fun game.
Near the end of the game, Cosmo came up by us (our seat mates had an in with him and asked him to come up to see them.)
And to top it all off, BYU won!!!
On our way out, we swung by the Band to say hi to Bro. Mac.
Michael had it in his mind to try to meet some of the players. He has a picture from Puca Nacua from when we went a few years ago. Thankfully, Matthew was mostly cook with hanging out.
#4 down there is LJ Martin.
There's Coach Sitake
Michael figured out that Bear Bachmeier was making his rounds counterclockwise around the Stadium, so we all headed over to the expensive seats to try to meet him. He got to meet Jack Kelly.
Us with Will Ferrin, the kicker.
Somehow, somebody was trying to get rid of some hot apple cider, and I was able to score a cup while we waited. After our picture with Bear, they kicked us out of the stadium, and we walked back up to our car. Because we'd waited so long in the Stadium, there wasn't any traffic, so that was a win. Matthew crashed at our house before heading home the next morning.
Then, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Brian and Michael got to go to the final BYU home game of the season with Shayne and Danny.
BYU won, they didn't stay to meet up with any players, and had a great time while I did some Christmas decorating.

We loved being able to go to so many games this year. It's fun having something in common with Michael (that he'll talk about), and it has been a great season to be a part of. Shout-out to Ben for sharing his season tickets with us!
