October 2021 Part 2: Soccer

Saturdays (and some weeknights) in October took us to soccer games. This was Michael's first year playing AA soccer, and I'm not going to lie, it was really rough for his team. They were all brand new to this level and played teams that had been playing together for a while. Most games, these poor boys got annihilated. It was really tough emotionally on them, especially because they were used to winning. I was really proud of how Michael played, especially when a lot of the time, he really didn't want to go play. It isn't super fun to lose games 10-0 every week.

Michael's last game was on his birthday, and I made his a shirt to match his team, which he wore to that last game.

Brian was the assistant coach for the team, and I think they had fun together.

Gabe meanwhile had his second year in Rec soccer, and he loves defending.

(He's in the blue and gray coat)

Soccer at this age is pretty comical to watch, but they're starting to figure out more things.
We love our soccer boys!
