Our Cruise Part 3: Costa Maya

Are mornings always this beautiful in the Caribbean?
Our next port of call was Puerta Costa Maya, Mexico. This sailor greeted us as we disembarked for the day.

We were originally going to try doing Snuba here, but the waters were too rough, so they canceled our excursion. We opted to swim with the dolphins instead. It felt silly at the time, but I loved every single second and was probably my most favorite thing that we did on our cruise.

We got to ride on the dolphin:

 Dance with the Dolphin:

Have the dolphin push us while we rode a boogie board:

And we got to kiss the dolphin:

I've loved dolphins since I was a little girl, and I couldn't stop smiling being in the water with the dolphins. It was such an amazing opportunity!

After swimming with the dolphins, we needed some food, and I couldn't be in Mexico and NOT get tacos. And guacamole.

I think Brian got some kind of Quesadilla.

This little port town was very tourist oriented, and they had these dancers out to entertain all the cruisers. I think they were trying to be Mayans or something.
We took a cab from the port area to the beach.

and we got to play in the water a little bit:

We loved being in the water! All too soon though, it was time to go back to the ship. We took some farewell pictures before embarking again.

And we came back to find our final towel animal:

We ate (because why wouldn't you?),  we wandered around the decks. We went to bed.
