I don't remember what the groundhog predicted on February 2, 2019, but whatever it was, he was ENTIRELY too optimistic. We did our traditional indoor picnic to commemorate this sill holiday
And I think we even introduced our kids to the famous movie of the same name. If they didn't watch it with us, Brian and I watched it on our own.
Valentine's Day meant pink pancakes, most of which were shaped like hearts and balloons and candy from Dad (not pictured).
And Nana and Papa even had Crumbl Cookies delivered to our house! SOOOO Yummy!!! Thanks, Nana and Papa!!
Michael was also there but must have refused to be in any pictures. We promise that Michael is still alive, well, and living with us. We didn't lock him in a cupboard during our holiday celebrations.
Brian and I celebrated Valentine's Day by going to the Regency Romance Ball in Salt Lake City.
We almost gave away our tickets, thanks to my pneumonia, but we just couldn't resist going. And even though we decided that we would just people watch the whole night and not try to dance, we still ended up dancing because it was just too much fun. My lungs somehow held up okay. It was so fun seeing people we'd seen the year before, especially the ones that remembered us too. It's my new favorited way to celebrate Valentine's Day!
