In May, our outdoor furniture arrived, including our fire pit! Naturally, we HAD to do s'mores to break it in. We decided on a firepit table that we hooked up to the natural gas line from our house because we figured we'd use it more if we didn't end up smelling like smoke every time we used it. It was a little trickier figuring out the best way to roast the marshmallow over the flame, but overall, we love this new fire pit table! We opted for more outdoor living room furniture to go around the table down on our patio.
Thanks to the warm weather, our pool opened early! We took advantage!
We invited cousins to come enjoy it as well!
It was a lovely preview of what was in store for us this summer.
The neighborhood kids were out in droves thanks to the warmer weather, so we had another s'mores night with all of them.
And through it all, we discovered that Gracie loves to drink from the hose too! We just needed school to end so that summer would officially be here!
