One of the saddest parts of the pandemic was that our temples had to close. They opened for live ordinances in 2020, but they didn't make it possible to go and do work for the dead until late spring 2021, and you had to get a reservation to go. Reservations went FAST, but we finally got an appointment to go do sealings in the beginning of July, and we were so excited to be back!
We were also able to get an appointment to take Michael to do baptisms for the dead--his first trip to the temple! It was so awesome to take him!
We were able to get enough appointments to go with friends. Luke, Tommy, Jonny, Amalia, and Alva got to come too.
Which means that our friends got to come too and help.
I thought it was funny how the boys and girls separated so much from each other while we adults were talking. It will not always be so.
These were some of my favorite days in July. It was so wonderful to be in the temple again!
