Gabe graduated from Preschool in May. This last year, he attended Avondale Academy, and he loved it. It was a strange year with this pandemic, and we worry about how this whole mess is affecting him and his learning, but he learned so much this year and started reading!
He read a book as part of graduation, and he definitely learned how to add inflection to make it more interesting. I like to think he learned that from me.
At the end of the program, Mrs. Davis shared one thing about each student. She said that Gabe was a protector of others, and that seemed just right. He is our little rule follower.
After turning in their cool robes, we got a picture with Rixton, our backyard neighbor and one of Gabe's buddies in our new neighborhood. (We were so grateful that they ended up in the same class!)
We can't believe that we're all done with Preschool. My mind replays a sweet montage of Michael's, Rachel's, and Gabe's preschool years. Six magical years dance by in all their cuteness, and I find myself wanting to make time stop while at the same time being so grateful that we are done with this stage. Parenthood is a strange thing, isn't it? We're so proud of our Gabe and how much he is growing!
