October is always a very very busy month around here, and 2019 was no exception. In addition to everything else we already mentioned (and Halloween, which I'll talk about next), we also
took selfies.
We crafted
And organized the craft stuff, well, the fabric anyway.
We finished up soccer...and the one day I brought my nice camera, the battery was dead, so we just have these cell phone pictures to commemorate the season.
Cassidy came to visit at least once, which is always delightful!
We played.
We watched General Conference.
We read books...a lot.
We snuggled
and napped. And drove. But not at the same time.
We went to church (which wasn't a big deal then, but it really is now), and we took advantage of the doodle boards while listening to the speakers to write messages
And work on our art:
And all around lifting each other.
We continued to have church at home,
and talked about putting on the Armor of God. To reinforce the idea, the kids colored these people, and we put armor over them. (Rachel was sad to put the armor over hers).
We got a little morbid in October.
We had stupid things remind us of things we were trying to heal from:
We got a visit from Grandma
We listened and cheered for Michael at his Halloween piano recital.
We loved on our dog.
We helped pick out a dog for Grandma, Maggie.
We had some beautiful sunsets.
We drove a lot.
We baked.
We went to the broadcast of the Saratoga Springs Temple groundbreaking. We were so excited to be a part of that!
One of us slept through it.
We went to pack meeting, which was the Space Derby.
We got a lot of mushrooms growing in our lawn. 
Gabe found these pants in his closet and tried to wear them. They might be size 18 months.
Gabe was super cute.
Taryn's crew came to visit.
Oh, and it got really cold at one point:
And there was enough snow to make this snowman.
We watched out the window.
And we even had a visit from the Big Bad Wolf.
