The big challenge of the year is deciding what to be for Halloween. I am always excited when we can come up with a family theme that everyone gets excited about. This year, we decided to do Toy Story again, but this time with characters from Toy Story 4.
My friend, Jen, is a make-up artist, and she does some pretty sweet transformations with her makeup around Halloween. I asked her if she needed a Benson for one of her transformations, and she said that she did need one more character for Toy Story Week. Here's some of the progress.
She painted this face on. She is amazing!
Michael had quite the time getting this make-up off later that night!
I bought Michael's suit, and we already had the stuff for Brian to be Woody, but I needed to make a costume for Rachel, Gabe, and me.
Gabe kept me company while I cut stuff out.
And even though our costumes were locked down, the kids couldn't resist trying on some funny costumes at the store.
The snowman got Halloween-ified.
I found this sweet fascinator at the store, and I couldn't resist getting it.
We made Halloween Sugar Cookies.
And really enjoyed them.
We also carved pumpkins. Just three this year, one per kid.
We hosted our annual Halloween Party, and I think this was our best turnout.
Finally, it was Halloween. Halloween Party for Preschool!
And we had Halloween parades at two different schools (thankfully not at the same time).
And trick-or-treating!
