In addition to projects, football, soccer, dance, and recovering from surgery, we also had stuff at the schools. First up, Michael's last band concert.
He did great and we're proud of him!
Gabe had a program at his school. He did a great job on his part.
Michael basically bailed on school the last few days, so here he is on the last day that he went to seventh grade.
Not pictured is the annual dance festival that is held at the elementary school. Michael skipped a class to watch part of it with me before heading out to a class. The kids were fun to watch, and the weather was quite pleasant. Gabe didn't cry all the way home on his last day of first grade, but he was a little sad to move on from Mrs. Adamson.
It's always a little sad to recognize that my kids have finished a grade and are getting older, but I confess that I was not sad that this school year was over. I'm so proud of all that these kids have learned and accomplished over the school year, and I'm so grateful for their teachers for all the time and love they have invested into our children. We're grateful for this village that is helping us raise our children.
