We got to see lots of family in June--Ben & Jenny, Alisa & Jared, Lea & Shayne, Nana & Papa, and the whole Chadwick Clan, minus Thomas (but we'll talk about the Chadwicks in a later June Post).
After our time together with Ben and Jenny ended, they ended up heading to Santa Barbara, and then Ben flew home and Jenny and the boys came back to Utah for some BYU camps, which meant we got to hang with them some more. June also means that the Utah Premier Brass performs each Sunday in one of Provo's city parks, and since the Utah Premier Brass is conducted by the Saville family patriarch, if we can go, we go, especially when we're all in the state together.
The first concert brought Jenny and the boys and Lea and a couple of her boys. Here's Michael, Danny, and Tyler during the National Anthem.

The kids under 12 marched in the Children's March.
Someone was kind enough to take our adult group picture (and yes, I'm wearing my Poler, aka wearable sleeping bag. After our long winter, I was over being cold.)

Here we all are: Jenny, Brian, Tucker, Me, Rachel, Gabe, Nana, Papa, Skyler, Lea, Danny, Michael, and Tyler.
Apparently my kids went to the movies with Jenny's kids and or Lea's kids? This must have been during my quick road trip to Caldwell (more on that later).
While Tucker and Tyler were in town, we also enjoyed some time at the pool.
Jenny left us a sweet goodbye note with some little farewell gifts. Jenny loves giving gifts.
Later in the month, we got to go to the Concerts in the Park with Alisa and her crew. Here's Jared with the Children's March clear in the background.
While Alisa's crew was in town, Dawson got baptized in our Stake Center, and Alisa asked our crew to assist with some of the music. Gabe and Rachel both polished up some primary songs to play. I helped arrange Rachel's song.
After the baptism, everyone came to our house for refreshments. I loved seeing this posse out on the deck. I don't know what was so entertaining, but I loved that they were hanging together and laughing.
We're so grateful for family--for cousins and strong ties. I am so grateful that my kids know all their first cousins and have good relationships with most if not all of them. They also know all their aunts and uncles (though Gabe could use a refresher on some of them), and that is pretty amazing to me. I'm so grateful for this family we belong to.
