Gracie is basically our family's celebrity. She's the most popular living creature in our house. She drives me crazy half the time with her barking and general stinkiness, but what would we do without her? She keeps morale up around here.
She takes her guard dog role very seriously and spends most of the day on the back of the couch in our front room monitoring for any threats.
She's also watching for her people to get home. Here she is watching Rachel and Gabe get dropped off after school.
She always likes to be where we are when she isn't vigilantly manning her guard post.
Fun fact: She's currently snoring in the doorway of the office as I'm writing this).
We are grateful for this cat of a dog that we call Gracie Lou Freebush McGracerson.
