In May, Brian finally got our new office desks and desktops installed. Gracie and I supervised as I was still on the mend from surgery. And don't worry, that's a caffeine free coke zero.
Ta dah!!
Someday, we will make better drawer fronts for these IKEA drawers, but it is not this day.
Michael made a set of hangers for his room. He used one of the extra boards that we had from our desk project.
To help pay for the TV that broke when Gabe fired Michael's unattended airsoft gun, the boys were responsible for filling our front beds with new garden soil. I was really impressed with Michael who worked every spare minute he had between practices and school to get these big bags of dirt emptied in the beds; he even worked in the rain.
With the world waking up, it was time to get flowers, and I ran into one of Brian's band friends, Christina, at the nursery. She says hi to all the Savilles.
I fell in love with this beautiful hanging basket.
I got three of them and three others to hang on our back deck.
I had this crazy idea that we could make a greenhouse using PVC pipe, so we got to work on it early in May, in the rain.
Our awesome neighbor dropped off Crumbl Cookies for us while were working, and it was awesome.
Unfortunately, the PVC we picked was too wimpy to withstand our Highland winds, so we had to take it down soon after we got it installed, but we learned a lot and are going to try again season.
