After getting home from Thanksgiving, we decked our halls! We fluffed the tree.
We git the ribbon and red berry bows in place and vacuumed up the fake tree needles.
And we decorated.
It's always fun reminiscing over our ornaments, especially our photo ones. We decided to make it a thing to reenact their first Christmas photos.
And of course, the annual modeling of the tree skirt:
After the tree was up, we dressed Gracie in her special Santa outfit and took our Christmas card picture.
There was some drama right before, but we're all good actors and put on our happy faces for the photo. I wanted to try something different with these photos and have us look like we're reading a Christmas book together.
We tried some photos without the book.
And ended up going with this one. It's not my favorite Christmas card picture ever, but that's okay. We'll have another go next year.
We were all so excited about another Christmas season!
