Last year, I saw a simple triangle frame tree in a store window display, and it sparked an idea for a Christmas Card display. Brian took my vision and brought it to life.
We strung twine in rows horizontally throughout the frame.
Got some clothes pins and started attaching the Christmas cards as they came in.
We had the most beautiful "tree" by the time the season ended.
Michael wanted to earn some money, so he tried making ornaments out of clay to sell. Unfortunately, he was not as successful as he'd been hoping, but I had to applaud his entrepreneurial spirit.
It wouldn't be Christmas without the annual homemade gift exchange between our kids. Rachel came up with this idea for a wooden tic tac toe game for Gabe. After more coats of paint than Rachel wanted to do, we cut out vinyl characters for the blocks, and Brian helped Rachel attach them to the blocks and boards that the two of them had made together.
