We're starting to get a reputation around here for taking Halloween a little too seriously, but we just can't help ourselves. We actually got started back in August the day before surgery, but actual preparations got more seriously underway in September. Michael helped us make one of our costume props.
I had this idea to create some spooky lenticular prints. I had great photos that I could use from Gabe and Rachel already, but I needed a new one for Michael. He was good enough to pose for me.
Then, I took that picture and turned him into a vampire:
Here's Rachel's, taken from a shoot from fall 2021.
And Gabe's from last Halloween
I finished making my apothecary jars. I hung these new photo backdrop cloths that I'd ordered, and we hung up our Haunted Mansion family photo from last Halloween that I had printed for this occasion. I love how our entryway turned out!!
Most of the jars and decor came from the Dollar Store.
We hung our floating candles again.
With our entryway decorated, we were ready for October!!!
