Things really finished up nicely in October for our house. We got our cupboards and countertops:
Electrical got all finished up!
Our snack bar in our kitchen was nearly complete.
Things started looking legit.
Our tile got finished in the bathroom
Our rooms were all finished an cleaned up.
Our faucets and fixtures went in.
And our mini fridge arrived and slid right on in.
The toilet went in.
And our mirror got installed.
And we passed our final inspections! That meant we could move stuff in!!!!!!!!!
Our playhouse furniture had gotten pretty dusty, so the kids helped clean it off.
And the number of boxes and furniture in our garage went significantly down. Lea and Shayne came and helped us move stuff in after we passed our inspection.
With stuff more stuff moved out of our garage, we could work on organizing more of the things that were staying in there. We decided to get wardrobes from IKEA
We had to build a platform for the wardrobes so that the concrete moisture wouldn't ruin them. We decided to put a scripture on the top of the platform.
It is so WONDERFUL having my craft stuff back!
The other room is going to be a kids' craft room and guest bedroom. It's still a work in progress.
See how the painter's equipment is STILL there?
Brian got a new tool to help with all our projects.
And we got all the wardrobes in. Ta dah!!
The right two store our camping supplies and the left is for our seasonal things--coats, snow pants, gloves, hats, and boots, as well as life jackets, chalk, sunscreen, pool toys.
Look at all these boxes we cleared out!
And we were able to park both cars in the garage!!
This marked the end of our projects!! Yeah right! Don't worry, we came up with more pretty darn quick.
