Concerts in the Park

Sundays in June=Concerts in the Park with the Utah Premier Brass. That means that we try to head to Provo for as many as we can to support our favorite director.

This also means that the kids get to spend time with Nana:

And Papa (when he's all done with the concert):
 And each other:

The kids love participating in the children's parade:
This year, we adopted a new baby:

We were able to make it to two concerts this year. Gabe got in some good bonding time with Nana and Papa. He started talking this month, and he was having some pretty deep conversations with them one night after the concert:

Brian finally had to pull them apart so we could take our kids home and put them to bed. It was one of the harder things he's had to do.

Brian especially loves these concerts because they remind him so much of his own childhood in Kansas. It's still a little foreign to me, but I'm starting to look forward to them every June. Brian loves that he can pass this tradition onto his kids. (No pressure to keep conduction the Utah Premier Brass, Kirt ;) )
