When we arrived out our house after driving back from Idaho, we were met with a drift of snow in our driveway, just in front of our garage. Thankfully we were able to make it into our garage, but that meant that we needed to plow that drive right away. Michael enjoyed frolicking in the snow.
(Notice the snowblower in the left side of this photo.)
After church the next day, we set up our tree.
The kids reenacted their first Christmas picture ornament.
Confession: Our ornament stash gets bigger every year, so we decided it was time to let some of them go. This one was one of the ones that we said farewell too. Here's a picture so we can always remember the foam ornament Gabe made a year or so ago.
In the middle of decorating, there were, of course, some shenanigans.
With the tree all decorated, it was time for the annual wearing of the Christmas Tree Skirt.
I've been amazed these last couple of years by how much Michael gets into his modeling of the skirt.
This is maybe a 1/4 of the pictures I took. He was cracking me up with all the poses he wanted to do. Moms of teenage boys know that if the teenage boy wants to pose for a picture, you take the picture.
This was a great night together. I sure love this little group of humans that I get to call my own.
