Brian's birthday is in September, in case you didn't know, and he turned 34. Before his big day, we took a picture of the two of us, commemorating the last time we'd both be 33.
We insisted he open his presents bright and early! Notice that Michael and Gabe are both still in pajamas? I was really excited for him to open them. I can't remember what they were, but I was excited for him to get them.

I surprised him with a gaming party. I invited a few of his friends over and just let them play games. I felt like I won that night, even if I can't remember what I gave him for his birthday.
Hunter's birthday is also in September, so we had a family party, which meant more ice cream and cake and candles!

There are not enough words to describe how much I adore Brian. He's my co-captain, my best friend, and my hero. He's an amazing dad and a great software architect/programmer. I'm so grateful that he was born!!
