On November 16, the day before Brian left for his trip, we invited Brian's parents over for dinner, and then we decorated the tree. It was fun having a night with Nana and Papa all to ourselves putting up our tree. Hopefully they weren't too bored because we loved having them.
Future French Horn player? Brian can hope!

And here's the latest addition to our home: a refurnished buffet! It's amazing how open my family room is without our black shelves in this spot!
Ethan was pretty disgusted that we set up our tree so early, but with our trip to Texas, we knew we'd be too tired to set it up when we got home after Thanksgiving, so we did it then. We promise, we're not the type of family to set up our tree before Thanksgiving USUALLY.

And looking back now, I'm really glad we did it so early, otherwise it might have ended up like our outside Christmas lights: still in the basement...
