My dear friend and roommate, Tali, got married on June 2, and I got to be her photographer. I got to hang out with her all day long! It did make taking pictures with me in them a little tricky. I passed the camera off a few times to step into some of the group shots.
Here are the ladies of Omni 168. These girls were my roommates right after I got home from my mission. They were also returned missionaries, and so they were the best people to help me adjust to normal life again. I feel so incredibly blessed to have found the apartment with them in it!
I took a selfie on my phone after we finished with the group shots.
I took pictures at the temple, and then I rode to the reception with Tali's parents so that Brian could go home and finish packing for our Texas trip. It was a little rough leaving all that work to him all by himself, even though I tried to pack as many things as I could before the wedding. I think I was more nervous about Brian getting everything packed than I was about messing up Tali's wedding pictures. Thankfully, Brian did well with the packing and I did well with Tali's pictures.
I nervously waited for Brian to arrive with the kids. Thankfully, he made it just before they closed the food line down.
Rachel led Tali's nieces in some stretching and dance exercises.
Michael kept his zen through the whole thing--mostly.
We sent Tali and Eric off into the sunset, I grabbed my gear, and we loaded into the car to head to Texas, after a quickish stop at Smiths for some food supplies. We left Salt Lake around 10:30p.m. and headed south for the Saville Family Reunion!
