Rachel's Play

After Rachel's preschool program last year, we decided that Rachel is born to perform! So, we decided to try out a program called "Up! With Kids,"  a musical theater group for kids pre-k through 6th grade where everyone gets a speaking part. Rachel loved being a part of it. In April, she finally got to perform her play that she'd been working on for so long. She had two performances, one at an elementary school in Eagle Mountain for a school assembly and one at a middle school for her family and friends. This year's show was called Ariel and Moana's Island Adventure...or something like that. Gabe and I were there for her elementary school assembly. She had to miss preschool to perform.

Here she is as one of the village children.
I took my nice camera and zoom lens to her performance on Saturday at the middle school. I took tons and tons of pictures!

After her school performance, her director asked me, "What's it like having the cutest kid in the show?" Well, I have to say that I'm pretty proud of our star performer! She did a great job on her lines and with her choreography!
