November 2022 Part 2: BYU vs Utah Tech

We got Michael football tickets to the BYU vs Utah Tech game for his birthday, which meant that on November 19, we headed to the game. Rachel and Gabe went to Nana and Papa's house for the day, and Michael invited his friend Noah to come along. We were so excited to be back in Provo for the game.

And Brian ran into Carrie Stefani from my mission (she was the Young Women's President in the Panama City Beach Branch when I served there), and then I tracked her down to say hi and take a picture. It was so great to see her!!!

Our tickets were on the 50 yard line, just up in the higher section.

Cougartails were part of the deal, naturally.

Of course we had to cheer loud for the Marching Band!

After half-time, the boys ditched us to sit in the student section with Ella. Actually, Ella snuck them into the Student Athlete section right next to the field. They got to see Cosmo
and VIP service, which I think involved more Cougartails and more excitement than our section offered.

It was quite chilly, but we stayed warm. The game ended with some beautiful, golden light.

And BYU won!

We found Ella after the game

And then we hung around for the senior night presentations.

Brian waited to greet the players when they finally exited after Senior night pictures and such. He got to meet some of his favorite players.
It was a long day by the time we picked up Gabe and Rachel and headed back home, but it was a lot of fun.
