May 2024 Part 6: Mother's Day

Brian and the kids spoiled me, once again, on Mother's Day. Rachel was so cute and made a whole display of my presents and cards, pulling in my Willow Tree sculptures as well.
Rachel made me a special string art in school. I don't remember what else I received, but I remember that I loved the gifts. My favorite is watching how excited my kids are to share their gifts. They are so sweet.
We enjoyed a lazy afternoon reading.

And then we all headed to the park to fly my new kite, courtesy of my Mom.
We totally skipped and sang "Let's Go Fly a Kite" on the way there.
I love kites, and this one was so awesome!
We all took turns flying it.

It was such a beautiful evening, and perfect for flying a kite.

I'm so grateful to be a mother to these three kids; each one has been such a gift.
