December 2023 Part 5: Christmas Day

Finally, it was Christmas morning. Brian and I bleary eyed-ly made our way downstairs where we were greeted with exciting accounts of stocking items (the only thing they're allowed to look at before we're up). They somewhat patiently waited for us to go through our stockings. Then we took turns opening our wrapped stocking/Santa presents.

Then we were onto the main event. Gabe was really excited to open the present Rachel made for him.

I love Gabe's sweet handwriting.

This year, the kids got wearable blankets. I think they were a hit.
I made Brian a notebook for his wood working projects.

We got Michael some woodworking books for his scroll saw.
We got Rachel a book about the Haunted Mansion. She loves it!
Brian got me the Imagineering Story.
We had all the local Savilles, plus Ben and Jenny, over for Christmas dinner, which was delicious, and we got to open presents from Nana and Papa.

Jenny brought things for a White Elephant type game. The kids played games together and the adults played some games and talked.

It was a very Merry Christmas, and we loved being with family at our house.
