October 2018 Part 7: The In Between October

And because birthdays, recitals, trips to Idaho, family pictures, corn belly's, and halloween activities weren't enough, we also lived a normal life in the middle. We did things like:

Get fat lips:
Eat desserts--in nothing but a diaper (well, at least Gabe did. I have no comment as to whether or not anyone else did).
Did laundry:
(Which is about the most entertaining thing to Gabe. He ALWAYS grabs the stool out of the bathroom to watch the washer run)

Got our faces painted (I just don't remember when or why. Maybe it was the Harvest Festival that I ran a booth at but didn't participate in? That would make sense).
Snuggled the dog (yes, even I did. Brian had to make sure we had photographic evidence of this fact).
Woke up with night terrors (way too many nights to count)
Sat in the grass
Ate at Costa Vida (because it's the best)
(Seriously, it's the very best. Ask Gabe!)
Made scones. (Most likely for Navajo Tacos)
Fell asleep while eating lunch:
Watched TV (probably too much)
Went to the City's Harvest Festival

Saw Mr. and Mrs. Claus (because...why? Whatever)
Danced in the kitchen:

Got into the spices and made a mess (I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus, but I think we all know who did this....Brian...oops. Actually, it's someone related to Brian).
We were silly:

We blew kisses:

We watched General Conference---and got excited and sad when they announced that we'd move from a three hour block of church to a two hour block.

We played games:
We read books:

We were silly:
We loved having a dog (well, most of them...I mean us.)
We got caught up in Construction traffic that made us late to lots of things.
We made our beds:
We slept in our beds:
We raised our hand. We ate dinner.
Michael earned his Wolf badge! Yay!
We stamped his face:

We took pictures of pictures:

and pictures of our favorite things:

We went on a field trip to This Is the Place State Park:
We rode a horse:
We played on the Wii:
We danced in the living room:

We foolishly volunteered to help at the school (in October, because I didn't already have enough to do!)
We finally got our new dresser {that we ordered a month or two before it finally arrived. Now we have a real, grown-up bedroom set [well, a dresser and two nightstands that go pretty well with our headboard])
We played dress up:
We loved, we laughed, we cried, we screamed, we had fun, we were bored. Just your typical life in the midst of some crazy. And we're grateful for every bit of it! And then we stepped into November...
