We decided that since we have church so early in the morning, we should go visit temple grounds once a month on Sundays after lunch. It was a really good idea, but we only did it once because then it got kind of cold. In October, we visited the new Provo City Center Temple. Brian and I spent many hours here, back when it was a tabernacle, and we thought it would be a perfect temple to visit. The grounds right next to the temple (where the beautiful fountains are) were closed, but we still walked around and hung out in the park/grounds on the corner of University Avenue and Center Street. It was a beautiful day. We just sat on the bench and watched Michael and Rachel play. It was so peaceful. It's amazing how even being on the grounds soothes our souls and fills us with peace.
Anytime we go to Provo, it feels like coming home. We met there. We grew so much there. We had our first home there. We had our first baby there. Provo will always be special to us. We decided to take the kids back to Wymount to show them where we used to live. Gabe had fallen asleep by then and the walk around the temple wore me out, so I stayed in the car with Gabe while Brian took Michael and Rachel to the Quad in front of our old apartment. Here they are in front of our apartment:

Can you believe how much time has passed since this:
